Following on from the successful event in 2015, Rohde & Schwarz is hosting Demystifying EMC 2016 on Monday January 18th 2016 at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, at Reading’s Madjeski Stadium.

Themes such as EMC fundamentals, updates on regulations and standards, basics of circuit design and component selection through to more specific MIL and Transportation topics will be covered. You can pick the sessions that you want to attend.

As with the previous event there will be room in the day to network with peers and speak with industry experts. MCS Test Equipment will be attending, as official Rohde & Schwarz Rental Partner and our EMC experts will be on hand to answer your questions. If you have an EMC challenge, want to brush up on your knowledge or are venturing into the topic for the first time this event will cater for you.

This presentation will review the EMC requirements for a range of military environments and discuss the applicable tests and purpose. It will also highlight the connection between testing against military standards and CE Marking against the EMC Directive and highlight how manufacturers can reduce their EMC test cost burden by considering these items together.
