New Aeroflex Lector 7 software halves 2G/3G/4G measurement times

Aeroflex have released a new and improved version of their Lector software, focusing on speed improvements to mobile device tests in service centres.

Test times have been reduced by an impressive 40% to 55% depending on the test performed. These improvements will be most noticeable for LTE testing, but improvements are available for the 2G and 3G solutions as well.

In high volume service centres, speed of test is a critical factor and is a key consideration when choosing equipment for new test sites. These new speed improvements make Lector 7 a highly competitive and cost-effective solution.

Key improvements:

  • Test times for LTE have been halved when testing multiple bands
  • Test times for 2G/3G reduced by 20%
