New LTE options for Anritsu PIM Master

Published: 22nd October 2013

New from Anritsu – three frequency options for the PIM Master MW82119A. With these new options you can accurately conduct “top of the tower” PIM measurements in the LTE 800 MHz and LTE 2600 MHz bands, as well as the UMTS 2100 MHz band.

The award-winning MW82119A is a battery-operated, high power Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing solution for the major wireless standards in use around the world. The PIM Master's small size and light weight, combined with battery operation, make it the ideal solution for verifying PIM performance at difficult to access sites such as Remote Radio Head (RRH) installations or indoor Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).

These frequency options have been specifically developed to address all the bands planned for LTE network deployments, and can help ensure LTE networks do not suffer from lower data throughput caused by PIM interference.

As well as the new LTE analysers, six other models are available to address major frequency ranges, including the upper and lower 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz, and 1900/2100 MHz bands.

How to Measure a MOSFET I-V Curve

One of the best ways to ensure a MOSFET is functioning properly and meets specifications is to determine its characteristics by tracing I-V curves. There are a number of output characteristics requiring I-V tests; you can derive gate leakage, breakdown voltage, threshold voltage, transfer characteristics, and drain current all by simply tracing I-V characteristics and verifying the device is working as it should.
