Rohde & Schwarz announces R&S CMW500 now supports TD-SCDMA signalling

Rohde & Schwarz has announced that their Wireband radio communication tester the R&S CMW500 now supports the TD-SCDMA signalling functionality due to the newly added R&S CMW-KS750 option.

The new option, which is the commonly used 3G standard in China, enables Rohde & Schwarz to help chipset and mobile phone makers in this key market.

Ideal for both signalling and non-signalling tests in production, the R&S CMW500 is the only test platform that offers signalling functions for all common wireless communications technologies as well as noncellular technologies such as WLAN.

The R&S CMW-K750 option also enables the R&S CMW500 to handle time division synchronous CDMA (TD-SCDMA).

Perfect for meeting the demands of the Chinese market the R&S CMW500 is a one-box, multimode test solution for TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA and GSM mobile radio networks as well as for WLAN signalling.
